According to Article 5 of the park's statutes approved by the Higher Education Development Council of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (dated 2004), the composition of the campus technology park's board of trustees is as follows:

Legal members:

• First Vice President (Chairman of the Board of Trustees)
• Deputy President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy (Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees)
• Head of Campus Technology Park (Secretary of the Board of Trustees)
• Minister of Oil
• Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education or his authorized representative
• Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade or his authorized representative
• Vice President of Technology and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology
• The head of the country's program and budget organization or his authorized representative
• Governor of Tehran or his authorized representative
• The head of the Center for Presidential Transformation and Development Cooperation
• Head of the Organization of Investment and Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran
• President of Sharif University of Technology

 

Real members:

Four to six local and national scientific, cultural, or social personalities who have an effective role in the development and progress of the park in compliance with the following conditions and priorities:

• One of the experts in science and technology parks
• One of the faculty members of the universities of Tehran province
• One of the political, social and scientific personalities of Tehran province
• Two experts in industrial affairs of the region or technology units
• An expert in economic development

* The real members of the Board of Trustees of the campus technology park are appointed to this position for 4 years by the decree of the head of the founding organization (president) in accordance with clauses a and b of the amendment and completion of the law on the formation of the board of trustees of universities and higher education and research institutions (approved by the 239th session of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution dated 11-30-69).

Duties and powers of the board of trustees

 According to Article 7 of the Law on the Formation of Boards of Trustees of Universities and Higher Education and Research Institutions (approved by the 181st and 183rd sessions of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution dated 9 and 12-23-1367) and Article 6 of the Park Statute approved by the Higher Education Development Council of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology dated 2004), the duties and powers of the Board of Trustees of the Campus Technology Park are as follows:

• Approval of internal regulations
• Approval of the administrative organization of the institute
• Approving the policy and financial, executive, scientific and technological policies of the park
• Approval of proposed plans related to park activities
• Monitoring the good implementation of park programs and reviewing the park's annual performance report
• Approving employment, administrative, financial, trading and park organization rules and regulations
• Approval of park development and expansion plans
• Approval of regulations and rules for the establishment of technology centers and institutes in the park
• Determining how to manage production, service and workshop units
• Examining and approving the institution's budget, which is proposed by the head of the institution
• Approving the annual detailed budget and approving the park's annual balance sheet and profit and loss account
• Approving the method of collection of special revenues and its consumption
• Appointing the auditor and treasurer for the institution
• Approving the terms and limits of credit acquisition from banks and credit institutions within the framework of the relevant rules
• Efforts to attract private sector contributions and local revenues including cash, equipment, and construction in compliance with the rules approved by the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution
• Suggesting the extraordinary amount of academic and non-academic members (experts and technicians)
• Determining the amount of payment for research fees, teaching fees, translation fees, copyright fees and the like
• Examining the report of the institute, which is presented by the head of the institute
• Proposing the dissolution of the park to the specialized technology committee
• Proposal to change or amend the park statutes
